Dr. Bonnie Hiers attended University of MD, College Park from 1980-1984 with concentration in the Biological sciences. From 1984 to 1988 she attended dental school at UMAB College of Dental Surgery in Baltimore where she was conferred the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. She graduated Magna Cum Laude, in the top 3% of her class. She was inducted into many honor societies based on her clinical or academic skills including:
Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society Gorgas Odontological Honor Society Phi Sigma Phi Honor Society Phi Sigma National Biological Honor Society
Dr. Hiers was the recipient of the University Gold Medal and was awarded a certificate of merit. Dr. Hiers has been practicing dentistry full time since 1988 and frequently attends continuing education courses to stay abreast of the latest techniques in dentistry. As you can see from her smile gallery, she has a special talent for cosmetic dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Maryland State Dental Association.
Dr. Hiers is a third generation
dentist and has a passion for dentistry along with a genuine concern
